Pastor Herb Rubi was saved at the latter end of the “Jesus Movement” in the 1970’s in Tucson, Az. He and his wife, Donna, were radically converted to Christ and began pastoral ministry in 1988. In 1994 they relocated to Sacramento with their children to pioneer a new church.

Door Church Natomas began in 1995 in Gardenland on Northgate Blvd. Our vision is to see the lost and broken of our community converted to the life changing power of Jesus. Over the years we’ve seen many people, from all walks of life, delivered from drugs, alcohol, and hopelessness. We remain committed to preaching the gospel, discipling converts, and planting churches to reach this needy generation.
