The Big Picture
Our fellowship has been around for over 50 years. The Door Church Tucson was founded in December of 1973 when Pastor Harold Warner and his wife Mona were sent out from The Potter’s House Church in Prescott, Arizona.
They began faithfully preaching the Gospel and reaching lost souls with their compassion and desire to serve. The Holy Spirit moved and scores of young people received Jesus Christ as their Savior. Pastor Warner and Mona patiently and diligently discipled these young men and women. Following the biblical example of world evangelism, these disciples were then sent to start churches in other cities, states, and nations. Under Pastor Warner's steadfast leadership, The Door Church is continuing to make disciples, plant churches, and reach lost souls for the kingdom of God. Today more than 600 churches worldwide can trace their roots back to The Door Church.
Harold Warner is our pastor’s pastor and we maintain the same vision of discipleship and planting churches worldwide.
Worldwide vision
-
Dream it.
The Bible says where there is no vision the people perish. The gospel message and vision is God-breathed and relevant in every nation and culture of the world (Mark 16:15 & Matthew 28:19). We continue to plant churches and send preachers to all nations. With over 3,000 churches connected to ours around the world, the message of Jesus is powerfully shifting the trajectory of broken lives, healing the brokenhearted, and restoring relationships to the glory of God.
-
Build It.
We believe in raising up couples to go and preach the gospel. By way of discipleship, our church provides the opportunity to lay preach and outreach in the community fulfilling the great commission (Matt 28:19). Our annual conference is where churches from our fellowship around the world gather at our mother church in Tucson, AZ. We get to see God’s vision unfold as people are called to serve. Testimony is shared, bonds are strengthened, and Jesus sets lives on the course of destiny. It is truly a life changing experience and puts God’s will in perspective.
